Athens, Georgia band Blind By Sight signed with CBM Management Agency as well as sister company CBM Records on August 23, 2012. The band is fast making a name for itself in the region, especially after winning the Georgia Music Awards Alternative Band of The Year. For a fledgling three-year band, these guys are determined and they work hard at their craft.
The four members from across North Georgia have aggressively put themselves into the public eye and won numerous Battle of the Bands and have shared the stage with the best of the best of Georgia talent, including Quiet RiotArt Alexakis (Everclear), Legion X, Death is a Dialogue, The Dreaded Marco, Holdcell and many more. The lineup currently includes vocalist and front man James Murray, bassist David Thompson, drummer Scott Sutton and guitarist Daniel Binnie.
CBM Management Agency’s president, Kimberly James, says, “We have had Blind By Sight play several shows we have produced as a company, and I was blown away by their drive, personalities and determination. I know we as a company with our 15 plus years of experience in developing artists, can take the band to another level in their careers.” CBM consists of Kimberly James (Founder and active agent), Craig Stark, Ruff Lee and a host of interns that the company uses from the KSU School of music and now the Brenau College Music program. With a team like that, this band is bound to go far in the music industry.
